AKGIM First Year Batch visited ANMOL Bakers at Greater Noida on 25th January, 2012. All the Students learned a lot through this particular interaction. They inquired about the Organizational Chart, the processes, the functioning of the manufacturing Unit. Students were very excited and even met senior officials and understood about the people problems of any Manufacturing Unit. What is the competitive strategy of Anmol Bakery, in comparison to other Bakers and Biscuit Manufacturers was the main concern to them . Overall the whole Industrial Visit became very successful and informative to the students.

The Industrial visit of First Year PGDM students was organized on 17th May, 2011 to Mother Dairy, Patparganj, New Delhi. The visit was very much encouraging to the students as they got very close look to the plant operations. 

Mr Ravinder Kar, the information officer at Mother Dairy highlighted product development and marketing plans of Mother Dairy products. Students also discussed about the cost management, advertisement, customer relationship management and branding issues of Mother Dairy with the officials.

An Industry Visit was conducted for the AKGIM students on 8th April 2011 to R D FORGE. The students were taken around the shop floor, showing the processes of manufacturing flanges. An overview was also given to the students regarding type of customers they are catering to; the level of competition in the market; the quality standards being followed in the plant; success story of the company so far and more.

The visit ended with a highly interactive session with the students where the CEO and COO Mr.Gaurav Garg and Mr.Saurav Garg answered various queries raised by AKGIM students.
