Student life is always at a high in any B Schools. Learning is extended beyond the classrooms and is just the right mix of regulation and responsibility. The environment at AKGIM is congenial for development of all students and complements the management education. Students are directly involved in every facet of AKGIM life, creating opportunities and utilizing them, dealing in life-size projects that instill a great deal of confidence. Each student has the opportunity to come up with ideas and see through its implementation, to learn by doing and by experiencing the real world.

Clubs and committees

A large number of students’ clubs and committees shall give all an opportunity to express the best of them and learn from the best of others.

Student Activity

At the centre of all activities, Student Activity coordinates among all other clubs and committees and is instrumental in aligning their goals and objectives with that of the institution. Students have a major role to play in making operational all the major events such as convocation, admission counseling, hostel allocation and student orientation among many others, and this gives the students a first hand experience managing roles and responsibilities. Apart from this, the STUDENT ACTIVITY FORUM, SAF, as it is often called, shall also coordinate and organize various events and festivals throughout the year.

Biz Thought Leader

Interaction with industry must be a key imperative in any business school, to hone managerial potential. Better known as the BTL, this committee creates platforms for students' interactions with corporate with a view to getting a broad perspective on what is happening in the society and the real business world. These interactions are in the form of workshops, panel discussions, seminars and guest lectures, which also serve to showcase  AKGIM  and foster relationships.

Sports

The aim of this committee is to offset the rigours of B-school academics with sport events.

Inter-college Activities

Students of the college are encouraged to participate in various cultural, social and literary activities like 'Vibrations' the cultural fest and 'Saksham', the sports meet along with various other events. These events bring in students from various parts of the country converging to compete with each other.

Symposiums  and Conferences

Students often initiate and become part of national/ international level conferences and symposiums. These conferences are not only enriching in their content but also a great learning opportunity for those who organise it.

Events

The events at AKGIM are regular feature. It raises the enthusiasm of students and contributes towards the overall development of students. The array of events is what keeps the freshness of AKGIM alive. Active minds and hearts is what AKGIM treasures and endeavours for and redefine the very essence of post graduate studies.

Moreover these events tend to dig, even the ‘slightest of talent possible’ out of an individual and make him/her feel enthralled and on top of the world. AKGIM offer a facilitating forum to talented students so that they can showcase their abilities among a receptive and appreciative audience. Through workshops, seminars, guest lectures and fun events like games and quizzes at AKGIM; we endeavor to provide a snapshot of what the real world is all about.
