At AKGIM, we singularly believe that we have to metamorphose our students into world – class  professionals. We inculcate professional attitude, behavior and skills which must take place within the course span of two years.  Orientation programme on joining the programme is one of the first of such initiative.

Each trimester has modules on professional and personality development which aim at enhancing communication skills, non-verbal skills, emotional intelligence, creativity and innovation among the student managers. Services of professional trainers are utilized for this purpose. The institute also offers modules on foreign languages in order to increase the employability of its students in the globalized business environment. Another redeeming feature of the Personality Development process is mentorship culture in which the faculty, mentors the student managers on a continuous basis.

Summer Training and Projects

Each student is required to undergo a six to eight, week summer training at leading corporations by undertaking a project of direct relevance to the concerned organizations. Subsequently, a presentation on the project and a viva-voce before a panel of experts is held.

In addition to the summer training projects, students are assigned small projects during the session in order to enhance their practical exposure. Faculty also integrate the theoretical learning with practice through AKGIM academies and the Metamorphosis programme, which are extremely beneficial in behavioral and attitude training of students.
