The 1st Board of Governors meeting was held on March 12, 2011 at AKGIM Campus. The meeting was chaired by the Honourble Chairman Shri Ashok Pal and was attended by the members of the Board of Governors. The Director presented the report to the board.

The meeting was followed by a Panel Discussion on Emerging Challenges in Management Education: Future Road Map for AKGIM.

The Experts Panel comprised of the following members:

1. Prof. Ajit Prasad (IES), Professor, IMI Delhi.
2. Mr. Kamal Singh, Director (CMD), AIMA, New Delhi
3. Mr. A. Thothathri Raman, Chairman, Standards for Education Advancement & Accreditation (SEAA) Trust & Consulting Editor, Business India.

The discussion was highly appreciated by the BOG the members and the faculty of AKGIM who attended the panel discussion.
