The Orientation Program for the batch 2010-2012 started with the Director's greetings and Welcome speech at 9:30 am on August, the 16th 2010. It was a proud moment hosting Mr. Kamal Singh, Director, CDM, AIMA, New Delhi as the Chief Guest. The first session of the orientation program was taken by Mr. Singh as well and he discussed about the "Emerging Challenges in Global Business" with the students of the esteemed institute, AKGIM. He shared his views, knowledge and experience with the student regarding the Indian Businesses.
As soon as the first session ended, the eminent faculties of the institute introduced the students with the different courses that are available with the institute for specialization. The staffs from IT (Information Technology) and Library threw some light on the facilities available like computer labs, communication lab and library. Then, the students had another session with Mr. Hemant Bisht from IIFM who enlightened the students with his knowledge on FOREX market and Indian Rupee.
After Mr. Bisht has shared his knowledge, the students had a chance to inter act with Mr. Ankur Jain, Head Marketing and Mobile Divisions LIQVID e-learning Services Private Limited. Mr. Jain not only encouraged student to create a brand in them but also explained the roles they play in building THE INSTITUTION.
