Visit of delegation from City of Bristol College, UK

A delegation from City of Bristol College, UK visited AKGIM on the 9th of June 2011. City of Bristol College is one the UK’s largest publicly funded college situated in the Historical City of Bristol in the Southwest of England.

They were here to explore opportunities for extending their Training & Development Program, Student Summer Internship, Faculty Exchange Program, and Joint holding of International Conferences and any other mutually accepted academic programs that are- within the ambit of prevailing guidelines of the higher education in the two countries. The delegation from City of Bristol College, UK was represented by Ms Hannah Lucy Lloyd, Head of Commerce, Innovation and Skills, Ms Leigh Godfrey, Curriculum Manager and Ms Kathryn Mary Tudor, Head of International Business of City of Bristol College and the AKGIM delegation was represented by Dr.Rajiv R Thakur, Director and Professor AKGIM, Dr. Anoop Pant, Chairperson Research and MDP’s, Ms Namita Kumar, Chairperson PGDM Program and Mr. Ritesh Singhal ,Chairperson IT and Entrepreneurship Development Program.

The meeting of the two delegations discussed at length various mutually beneficial programs that could be held either at AKGIM Campus, or at City of Bristol College. The meeting concluded with the note that the two delegations would correspond in drafting a proposal for the same which would then be submitted to the governing council of both the institution for signing a formal agreement.
