Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management, Ghaziabad, in its journey to establish itself as a seat of world class research centre has come out with the first issue of its bi- annual, double- blind –reviewed, scholarly Research journal, AAYAM : AKGIM Journal of Management.
The journal was released on the auspicious occasion of First ever AKGIM Convocation on 9th August, 2011 by Mr Pradeep Bhargava, Managing Director, Cummins Generator Technologies India Ltd. Pune and Shri Ashok Pal ji, Chairman, AKG Group of Institutions .
It is the intent of the journal to publish articles aimed at improving business practices or enhancing instructional efforts through application, transfer and interpretation of knowledge.
The journal will promote interdisciplinary and cross – disciplinary approaches to the study of subjects related to business and society, igniting original thinking which will contribute to creating knowledge and understanding in these areas. It will also provide a platform for debate amongst diverse academic and practitioner communities on divergent disciplines, topics and issues in different parts of the world. |
In this journal Research papers based on empirical work will be strongly encouraged, while papers founded on a strong literature base and contributing to theoretical development will also get the journal’s support in equal measure.
Simultaneously journal also encourages the practice-oriented research with a special focus on, how the results of research may be translated into practice benefitting the business and society. |
