AKGIM in association with AIMA conducted two days Business Simulation for MBA students on 24th - 25th Jan 2019. There were altogether seven teams who were operating in a virtual environment and ran a virtual company for six financial quarters. This game let participants expose to various challenging aspects of the competitive market and thereby were supposed to generate profits and gain market share. Team 0 consisting of Raghav Goel, Subodh Gaurav, Kavisha Goel and Shweta Kaushik emerged as winners. Mr. D.K. Gupta and Mr. Vijay Singh from AIMA were the facilitators.
“CHANAKYA” Business Simulation Game (Students) 10-11 November 2017
In order to make students experience the real corporate environment and how to make decision in a competitive market environment, AKGIM in association with AIMA conducted 2 days simulation Game "Chanakya" on 10th -11th November 2017.
In this risk free virtual environment, students got to know complexities of business which is full of opportunities, challenges and failures. Through this game, students honed their invaluable skill to handle on before embarking on their journey as managers.
All together there were seven teams that were competing against each other in the same market for a slice of the consumer pie and profits. Students got an opportunity to strategize with their teammates before making the final decisions. The dynamic aspect was prevalent however in the decision-making areas, where students could immediately see the effect of their choices once they started experimenting with the decisions. After every decision-making round, students' decision was simulated against other teams and the results of the round were available on the simulation platform.
After playing 5 Quarter game, Team 7 lifted the winner trophy with a cumulative profit of 84.945 followed by Team 6 with a profit of 78.055. Winning Team comprised of Prashant Kumar Garg, Kshitij Tyagi, Mehak Tewari, Amit Kumar Sengar, Akash Tyagi, Sadhana Shipra.
Mr. Vijay and Mr D.K Gupta were the simulator Game experts from AIMA. Students thoroughly enjoyed the Game.
Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management in association with All India Management Association organized a two day's simulation game "Chanakya" on 11th -12th Feb 2016 at AKGIM Campus. CHANAKYA – is a business simulation game in which each team member is made to represent the decision makers of the company and work assiduously in strategic manner to earn virtual profits.
Participants play this game to win and in this endeavour they imbibe new forms of competitive behaviour that are ideal for today's highly volatile business conditions. All together there were 9 teams that participated in the game, including a Guest team from ITS, Mohan Nagar. Participants were engrossed in analyzing the business situations that led them in decision-making. Team no.4 comprising of Yash Agarwal, Rini Rastogi,Sneh Pandey and Somya emerged as winners and Team no. 2 comprising of Trapti Srivastava, Arpita, Gaurav Gupta and Ayush lifted the runner-up trophy. Mr. Vijay Singh, Mr. Shubham Basu and Mr. D.K Gupta from AIMA were the simulation experts. This management event was highly appreciated and enjoyed by all the participants.
Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management was privileged to host "CHANAKYA" the Simulation Game for students on 26th and 27th of February 2015 in AKGIM campus in association with ALL INDIA MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION. CHANAKYA gives an opportunity to students to expose themselves and their skills in a competitive simulated environment with the virtual money and virtual company. CHANAKYA – is a business simulation game in which each team member is made to represent the decision makers of the company and work assiduously in strategic manner to earn virtual profits. With the help of this simulated game participants got an idea about competition in business and tackling tactics and thereby were supposed to generate virtual profits and maintain market share.
CHANAKYA witnessed 40 student participants in form of 8 teams named as Team 0, Team 1, Team 2, Team 3, Team 4, Team 5, Team 6, Team 7. Simulator Experts Mr. D.K. Gupta and Mr. Vijay from All India Management Association facilitated the game in a very fascinating manner.
Team 0 comprising of Anjali Rathi, Ankit Singhal, Samarth Sahai, Mukesh Kumar and Priya Verma won the title of winners followed by Team 3 comprising of Neha Varshneya, Lavika Arora, Sanjeev Kumar, Nipun Tyagi and Archit Agrawal as runner up.
The event was extensively appreciated and enjoyed by all the participants.
